Personal Care Services/ In Home Care
Personal Care Services/ In Home Care
- Personal Care Assistant (Basic):
- This includes personal care for the individual which includes:
- Bathing Assistance
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Hygiene Assistance
- Assistance with Toileting
- Personal Care Assistant (Advanced):
- RN supervised personal care, includes but is not limited to:
- Catheter Care/Ostomy Care
- Medication Reminders
- Transfer Assistance
- Feeding Tube Assistance
- Assistive Device Assistance
- Homemaker Chore Services:
- Non-medical support services which includes activities of daily living such as:
- Housekeeping
- Laundry
- Meal Preparation
- Errands or Transportation
- Respite Care:
- Short-term or temporary care of a few hours or weeks to provide relief, or respite, to the regular caregiver, usually a family member.
- Residential Supported Living:
- Comprehensive habilitation service designed to support individuals with disabilities with self-sufficiency out in the community.
- Individuals receiving supported living services may reside in any non-institutional setting.
- Personal Assistant: (people with disabilities)
- Assistance with acquisition, retention, or improvement of self-help, socialization and adaptive skills.
- Supported Employment:
- Ongoing support services in order to help someone with a disability perform their job.
